Gérard Bertrand: An ICON of Biodynamic Winemaking!
Bertrand is a fourth-generation winemaker, author, and former international rugby star, managing 17 estates across 2,295 acres (930 hectares) in France.
His wines found in 185 Countries — including Clos du Temple, one of the highest-rated and most expensive rosé wines in the world, Côte des Roses, Gris Blanc, Orange Gold, and FRENCH CANCAN Sparkling only to name a few — are internationally acclaimed for elegance, sustainability, and devotion to terroir.
Bertrand’s portfolio has earned multiple Decanter World Wine Awards, featured on the cover of Wine Spectator (May 2023), and continues to set the standard for premium biodynamic wines worldwide.
The birth of a passion for wine and biodynamics
It was in 1975, in the vines of the Château de Villemajou at the heart of the Corbières that Gérard Bertrand harvests its first grapes and discovers its passion for wine. He will perfect his apprenticeship during twelve years at the side of his father Georges Bertrand.
Very attached to the values of performance and excellence learned on the rugby fields, Gérard Bertrand continues his quest: to reveal the best terroirs of his region and promote them throughout the world.
It is in this spirit that he took over the family torch at Domaine de Villemajou after the accidental death of his father in 1987. Five years later, he created the Gérard Bertrand wine company in order to develop a range of wines from the South of France.
In the following years, he will buy back the Domaine de Cigalus and the Château Laville Bertrou.
The acquisition in 2002 of Château l'Hospitalet in the natural park of La Clape, The location between Narbonne, the Roman city of Narbonne, and the Mediterranean Sea gave Gérard Bertrand a new dimension.
Since then, the beautiful story continues and new nuggets with the emblematic terroirs of Languedoc come to enrich the vision and the diversity of Gérard Bertrand wines: Domaine de l'Aigle, Château la Sauvageonne , Château la Soujeole, Clos d'Ora , Clos du Temple, Château des Karantes, Château Aigues-Vives, the winery Cap Insula, Château des 2 Rocs, Château de Tarailhan and Domaine de l'Estagnère.

Mark Taylor is taking Music City by storm. The 24-year-old Nashville resident brings that feel-good 90’s country sound back to his fans with his smooth vocals and soulful melodies. Having already opened for or shared the stage with superstars Big & Rich, Bryan White, Eric Paslay, Joe Nichols, Jon Pardi, Russell Dickerson, Members of R.E.M., The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, Collective Soul, and many more, Mark is certainly one to watch in Nashville.
As a songwriter, Mark has written songs recorded by Amii Stewart (Singer of the 1979 #1 “Knock on Wood”), Whey Jennings (Grandson of Waylon), Hayley Payne, Dan Harrison, Molly Lovette, and more.
With numerous singles under his belt, his release, I’m Down peaked at #11 on a fan-voted country chart. He has received airplay all over the world including Australia, Ireland, London, Switzerland, and the U.K. His single, “Dust Off That Dirt”, has received nearly a quarter of a million streams and has been added to several terrestrial AM/FM radio rotations throughout the Northeast and Southeast United States, as well as internationally. He also won ASCAP’s 2023 Harold Adamson Country Lyric award for this critically-acclaimed song. His music video for “Dust Off That Dirt” made its premiere on The Country Network, broadcasting to over 40 million households.
Mark‘s recent cut, “Just Before the Dawn” (Top 40 hit on the iTunes Country Chart and Top 10 hit in Norway), recorded by Whey Jennings, was featured in the award-winning film, “American Outlaws”, available in select theaters and streaming services now.
Recently partnering with CALI Distillery, Mark Taylor launched his own honey bourbon whiskey –Steel String Signature. He took a hands-on approach with every aspect of this, from taste to name choice to design and packaging. This limited edition spirit is currently available online through their retail partner, Great American Craft Spirits and can also be purchased directly through Mark’s website.

About Ryan Dotters – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & FOUNDER
In January 2015, Ryan took over as CEO while simultaneously signing a partnership deal with Tiger Woods. He has grown his golf business significantly through acquisitions of Visual Sports Systems and VirtualGreen to supplement the existing simulator business, and has led rounds of investments from Topgolf, Northcastle Investments and most recently sold the majority of the company to Bruin Sports Capital.
Previous to Full Swing, Ryan held a variety of positions across the leading brands in golf including Taylormade, Callaway and more.
Sons & Dotters unofficially began in 2020 when we all needed a drink or two and no bars were open. One brother, a former bartender, made a large batch of an Old Fashioned cocktail and dropped it off at the other brother’s house.
Quickly these cocktails gained popularity among family and friends who got to have a glass. We spent weekends with our dad creating large batches of different cocktails, bottling and delivering them to friends.
After serving Sons & Dotter at several friend’s weddings, bachelor parties, and birthday celebrations, we saw how much everyone loved our drinks and felt inspired to share with everyone by starting a real business, Sons & Dotters.
Our family is truly thankful for your support. We would not have made it this far without all our friends and family encouraging us and helping with the bottling process along the way. We love making these cocktails and we hope you enjoy drinking them as well.
